PM Modi’s Bolpur Rally: Accusations of Corruption Against INDI Alliance and TMC

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi didn’t hold back during his electrifying election rally in Bolpur, West Bengal, where he launched a scathing attack on both the INDI alliance and the Trinamool Congress (TMC), alleging widespread corruption and involvement in various scandals during their respective tenures.

Addressing a mammoth crowd of supporters, PM Modi asserted, “In their 10 years of governance, the INDI alliance did nothing but indulge in scams and corruption.” He then proceeded to list a slew of scandals that have marred the INDI alliance’s governance, including the infamous 2G scam, submarine and helicopter scam, and the Commonwealth Games (CWG) scam.

Not stopping there, PM Modi also pointed fingers at the TMC, accusing them of following a similar path of corruption. “TMC is treading the same path, engaging in scams in unimaginable ways,” he declared, highlighting a range of alleged scams under the TMC’s rule, such as the ration scam, recruitment scam, coal scam, and animal trafficking scam.

PM Modi emphasized that these were not minor infractions but massive operations worth hundreds of crores, which have severely hindered the state’s progress and development.

His allegations come at a crucial moment as West Bengal gears up for the impending elections, with corruption emerging as a pivotal issue in the political discourse.

The rally in Bolpur forms an integral part of PM Modi’s election campaign in West Bengal, aimed at rallying support for his party. The accusations of corruption are expected to fuel intense debate and scrutiny as the elections draw closer.

As of now, there has been no response from representatives of the INDI alliance and the TMC regarding PM Modi’s allegations. However, these accusations are poised to stir up significant political upheaval in West Bengal, setting the stage for a fiercely contested electoral showdown.
