PM Modi Criticizes TMC for Bengal’s Alleged Regression

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a recent public gathering in Jhargram, West Bengal, took a strong stance against the Trinamool Congress (TMC), blaming the party for the alleged decline in Bengal’s progress.

PM Modi accused the TMC of causing a significant setback to Bengal’s development, stating, “TMC is pushing Bengal back and back… From industries to infrastructure, TMC has been destroying everything in Bengal.” He expressed deep concern over the state’s current state under the TMC’s governance.

The Prime Minister highlighted the power of the citizens’ vote, stating that it could serve as a robust response to the TMC’s alleged misdeeds. He urged the people of Bengal to vote wisely in the upcoming elections, hinting at the possibility of a change in governance.

These comments come amidst the heated political climate in West Bengal, with the state preparing for the forthcoming elections. The BJP and the TMC have been locked in a fierce political battle, with both parties vying for the majority.

The TMC, led by Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, has been ruling the state for the past decade. The party has yet to respond to PM Modi’s allegations.

As the election date draws closer, the political discourse in Bengal is expected to intensify. The voters’ response to PM Modi’s call for change and their decision in the elections will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Bengal.
