PM Modi’s Two-Day Meditation at Vivekananda Rock Memorial Concludes

Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu – Prime Minister Narendra Modi has successfully completed a two-day meditation session at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. The meditation retreat started on Saturday and concluded on Sunday evening.

The Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) reported that PM Modi spent the duration of the retreat in solitude, meditating and reflecting. This spiritual retreat comes amidst the ongoing political developments in the country.

The Vivekananda Rock Memorial, where the Prime Minister meditated, is a significant monument built in 1970 in honor of Swami Vivekananda, who is said to have attained enlightenment on the rock. The memorial is a symbol of unity and peace.

The PMO stated that the Prime Minister’s visit to the memorial was a private one, aimed at spending some time in solitude for self-reflection. The Prime Minister, who often speaks about the importance of meditation, has been seen practicing it on various public occasions.

The Prime Minister’s two-day meditation retreat at the Vivekananda Rock Memorial has drawn attention from various quarters. While some see it as a personal endeavor of the Prime Minister towards self-improvement, others view it as a gesture that promotes the importance of mental health and inner peace.

The meditation retreat concluded peacefully on Sunday evening, and the Prime Minister is expected to resume his official duties from Monday.
