Former Karnataka CM Calls for Thorough Investigation in Renuka Swamy Murder Case

In a recent development in the Renuka Swamy murder case, former Karnataka Chief Minister and newly elected BJP MP, Basavaraj Bommai, has called for a thorough investigation into the alleged involvement of Kannada film actor Darshan Tugudeepa.

“No one must behave in such an inhumane manner. Those in power or a celebrity, none have special privileges. All are equal before the law. Taking the law into one’s hands is a crime,” Bommai said, emphasizing the importance of equality before the law.

The former CM’s comments come in the wake of the ongoing investigation into the murder of Renuka Swamy. The case has gained significant attention due to the alleged involvement of popular actor Darshan Tugudeepa.

Bommai stressed the seriousness of the offence and insisted that the investigation into Tugudeepa’s alleged role must be probed with the same vigour and integrity throughout. “Only then will the guilty can be punished,” he added.

The former CM’s statement underscores the need for a fair and unbiased investigation, irrespective of the social status of the individuals involved. His comments have added a new dimension to the case, highlighting the importance of maintaining the rule of law and ensuring justice for the victim.
