PM Modi Applauds Progress in Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir: Celebrates 5 Years Since Article 370 Abrogation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi marked the 25th Kargil Vijay Diwas by highlighting the impressive progress made in Ladakh and Jammu & Kashmir over the past five years since the abrogation of Article 370. Addressing the nation from Ladakh, Modi emphasized the transformative changes that have taken place in these strategically important regions.

Reflecting on the developments since the special status of Jammu & Kashmir was revoked, Modi pointed to significant advancements in infrastructure and societal improvements. The Prime Minister noted the resurgence of cultural and social activities, including the reopening of cinemas in Kashmir after nearly 30 years and the revival of traditional events like the Tazia procession in Srinagar.
