Union Minister Pralhad Joshi Criticizes Sam Pitroda Over Alleged Land Encroachment

Date:

Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has strongly criticized Congress Overseas Chief Sam Pitroda, accusing him of not only making anti-India statements but also illegally holding government land in Bengaluru.

Joshi claimed that Pitroda had been sanctioned land in Yelahanka forestland on a five-year lease, but he neither renewed the lease nor returned the land after the period expired.

“Sam Pitroda not only indulged in an anti-India statement but also got sanctioned to lease land in Bengaluru in Yelahanka forestland, and the lease period was 5 years. Neither has he renewed the lease nor has he given it back. He is keeping it illegally… The land should be taken over by the state government, and criminal action should be initiated against him,” said Joshi.

The BJP leader’s remarks come amid ongoing political tensions between the ruling party and the Congress, with accusations and counter-accusations on various issues. Joshi also called for strict action from the Karnataka government to reclaim the land and initiate legal proceedings against Pitroda.

There has been no immediate response from Sam Pitroda or the Congress party regarding these allegations.
