BJP Leader Chalavadi Narayanaswamy Demands Resignation of Karnataka Deputy CM DK Shivakumar

Date:

Leader of Opposition in the Karnataka Legislative Council and BJP leader Chalavadi Narayanaswamy has called for the immediate resignation of State Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar following his reported statement. Narayanaswamy argued that Shivakumar’s remarks were inappropriate and demanded accountability from both him and Chief Minister Siddaramaiah.

“DK Shivakumar should resign immediately. Otherwise, CM Siddaramaiah, who always talks about Constitutional ethics and Babasaheb Ambedkar, should immediately take action and sack DK Shivakumar from the Cabinet,” Narayanaswamy said.

The BJP leader’s comments come in the wake of controversial statements reportedly made by Shivakumar, which have sparked political tensions in the state. Narayanaswamy’s call for action highlights the ongoing power struggle and accountability issues within the Karnataka state government.

Narayanaswamy also pointed out that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, known for his strong advocacy of constitutional principles, should demonstrate his commitment to those ideals by taking swift action against Shivakumar if the allegations are true. The situation is likely to fuel further political discourse and discussions on leadership accountability in the state government.
