Prime Minister Modi Meets U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance, Highlights India-U.S. Cooperation

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi met with the Vice President of the United States, J.D. Vance, where he fondly recalled his visit to Washington D.C. in January. During this visit, Prime Minister Modi held productive discussions with President Donald Trump, which set the stage for closer cooperation between India and the U.S. in the future.

Modi emphasized the strong partnership between both nations, noting that the roadmap for their collaboration was laid down during his discussions with President Trump. He highlighted how India’s vision for a developed nation by 2047, dubbed “Viksit Bharat 2047,” can complement the U.S.’s “Make America Great Again” (MAGA) initiative, paving the way for mutually beneficial growth.

The discussions between the two leaders are expected to further strengthen the economic, political, and cultural ties between India and the United States, advancing shared goals and interests.
