BY Vijayendra Slams Rahul Gandhi Over KN Rajanna’s Exit from Karnataka Cabinet

Date:

Bengaluru: Reacting to the resignation of KN Rajanna from his cabinet post, Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra launched a sharp attack on Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, questioning his tolerance for dissent within the party.

“I don’t think Rahul Gandhi has the guts to hear the truth. He does not have the patience to hear the facts,” Vijayendra said. He alleged that during Rahul Gandhi’s recent visit to Bengaluru, the Congress leader criticised the Election Commission of India and accused Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP of coming to power through malpractices.

Vijayendra claimed that Rajanna had merely “spoken the truth” and “put the records straight,” but Rahul Gandhi’s displeasure led to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah seeking his resignation. “His resignation has not been sought — he has been suspended from the cabinet. Is this the respect the Congress party and Rahul Gandhi are showing to a senior leader of the ST community?” he questioned.

The BJP leader’s remarks come amid growing political controversy over Rajanna’s removal, which has sparked debate over intra-party democracy and the treatment of senior leaders within the Congress in Karnataka.
