Tejasvi Surya Slams Karnataka CM Over Governance Failures, Says ‘Silent Musical Chairs’ Going On in Congress

Date:

Bengaluru, Karnataka: BJP MP Tejasvi Surya launched a strong attack on the Congress government in Karnataka on Thursday, criticising Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s leadership and alleging administrative collapse in Bengaluru and across the state.

Addressing a press conference, Surya said, “The Chief Minister has been making some personal attacks on me, and it does not bring repute to his position. Sun shines whether it’s a full moon day or half moon day — perhaps it’s his appeasement towards those who see the moon for their festivity.”

The BJP MP accused the state government of failing to maintain basic infrastructure in the capital city. “There is not even one road which is pothole-free. He is incapable of providing even a decent 1 km road or a garbage-free city,” he said.

Raising concerns over law and order, Surya pointed out, “Recently, there were three rape cases in the city. Karnataka has lost $15 billion worth of state investment. The IT Minister is busy banning the RSS instead of bringing investments.”

Responding to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s son Yathindra’s recent comments, Surya said, “The CM’s son indicated his father’s time is over. A silent musical chairs game is going on in Karnataka. This government will not come back to power.”

He further criticised Minister Priyank Kharge, saying, “Priyank Kharge must answer questions about losing investments to other states.”

Surya’s remarks come amid growing political tension in Karnataka, with the BJP stepping up its criticism of the Congress government over governance, investment loss, and public safety concerns.
