Union Minister Pralhad Joshi Inaugurates India Manufacturing Show, Highlights Role of Small Industries in Economic Growth

Bengaluru, Karnataka: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi on Thursday lauded the efforts of Laghu Udyog Bharati and the India Manufacturing Show (IMS) for providing a dynamic platform that showcases the strength and innovation of India’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

Speaking at the event, Joshi said, “Laghu Udyog Bharati and IMS have created a platform for successful small-scale industries to showcase their products. This event has become so prestigious that participating in it is considered an honor for small industries from India and around the world.”

Highlighting the scale and impact of the exhibition, the minister noted, “More than 429 industries participated in this, and many startups are also here to exhibit their products. This is creating a good market and providing great exposure to all.”

Joshi emphasised that platforms like IMS play a crucial role in fostering innovation, collaboration, and global competitiveness among Indian industries. He said the participation of startups alongside established businesses demonstrates India’s growing manufacturing potential and entrepreneurial spirit under the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The India Manufacturing Show, organised in collaboration with Laghu Udyog Bharati, aims to promote industrial excellence, encourage technology exchange, and connect small-scale manufacturers with global partners and investors.
