Bengaluru – BJP leader and Mandya MP, Sumalatha Ambareesh, in a recent statement, expressed her decision to prioritize the future of her state over her personal ambitions. Despite the desire of many of her followers for her to contest again from Mandya, she has chosen a different path.
Ambareesh stated, “A lot of my followers wanted me to contest (from Mandya) again this time. But I did not want my own ego or my own future to come in the way of my state’s future.” She emphasized her commitment to the welfare of her state and its people, indicating that her personal ambitions should not hinder the state’s progress.
She further expressed her support for PM Modi and the BJP, stating, “I want to be supportive of PM Modi and the BJP coming back to power.” Her statement underscores her belief in the leadership of PM Modi and the policies of the BJP.
