PM Modi Questions Security of Jagannath Temple’s ‘Ratnbhandar’

Date:

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in a public meeting in Kandhamal, Odisha, has raised eyebrows over the security of the ‘Ratnbhandar’ of the sacred Jagannath temple. The key to this treasury has been reportedly missing for the past six years, leading to concerns about the safety of the temple’s priceless treasures.

“The key was lost, who found it? Does he keep opening and closing it?” the Prime Minister asked, pointing towards potential security lapses at the temple.

In a twist to the tale, the state government announced the discovery of a duplicate key. This development, however, has sparked more questions than answers. “Now the question is why this duplicate key was made?” PM Modi probed, suggesting possible mismanagement.

The existence of a duplicate key is a matter of deep concern, even more so than the loss of the original key. It raises doubts about the management of the temple and the security of the ‘Ratnbhandar’.

The Prime Minister urged the state government to take immediate action to address these issues and ensure the safety of the temple’s treasury.

The Jagannath temple, a major Hindu pilgrimage site, attracts millions of devotees each year. The ‘Ratnbhandar’ is believed to house invaluable treasures and artifacts, making its security a high priority.

This incident has ignited a nationwide debate on the administration of religious institutions and the need for transparency and accountability in their operations. As the investigation into the matter unfolds, the devotees of Lord Jagannath are eagerly waiting for answers.
