Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra Criticizes High Court’s Clean Chit to CM Siddaramaiah in MUDA Scam

Date:

Bengaluru, Karnataka – Karnataka BJP President BY Vijayendra has expressed his dissatisfaction with the High Court’s decision to give a clean chit to Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in the alleged Mysuru MUDA land scam. While acknowledging the court’s relief to the CM, Vijayendra stressed that Siddaramaiah himself had admitted to the issue, undermining the court’s verdict in his view.

“The High Court has given a clean chit to CM Siddaramaiah in the Mysuru MUDA scam. I do agree that he has got relief, but the fact remains that the CM himself has admitted to this,” Vijayendra said. He highlighted Siddaramaiah’s statement in which the CM reportedly agreed to surrender the 14 sites but also demanded compensation for them.

Vijayendra pointed out that the pressure exerted by BJP protests forced Siddaramaiah’s family to surrender the controversial 14 sites. “Due to the pressure exerted by our protests, Siddaramaiah’s family is forced to surrender these 14 sites. What does this mean? This means that even though the HC has given a clean chit, those 14 sites were illegally allotted,” Vijayendra said, accusing the government of mishandling the land issue.

This latest exchange adds to the ongoing political tension over the land allocation controversy, with the BJP continuing to target the Siddaramaiah government, even as the ruling party defends its position and the judicial outcome.
