BJP MP Tejasvi Surya Joins ‘Dharma Yatra’ from Bengaluru to Dharmasthala

Date:

Karnataka: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Tejasvi Surya on Saturday participated in the ‘Dharma Yatra’, a statewide initiative launched by the Karnataka BJP unit. The yatra, which began in Bengaluru, will culminate in Dharmasthala, a revered pilgrimage town in Dakshina Kannada district, known for its cultural, spiritual, and religious significance.

Speaking during the event, Surya highlighted the yatra as not just a political movement but also a reaffirmation of Karnataka’s deep-rooted cultural and spiritual ethos. He emphasised that the BJP has always stood for the protection of Sanatan Dharma, traditions, and values that guide Indian society.

Party leaders said the ‘Dharma Yatra’ has been organised to mobilise people from across the state, spread awareness about the government’s welfare schemes, and counter what they termed as the opposition’s attempts to create “divisive narratives.” The procession will pass through multiple districts, where public meetings, cultural programs, and community interactions are planned.

Tejasvi Surya added that the yatra would strengthen the bond between the people and the party while celebrating Karnataka’s spiritual heritage. “This journey reflects the unity of our culture and the resilience of our people. From Bengaluru to Dharmasthala, we will spread the message of Dharma and service to society,” he said.

With prominent leaders expected to join at different stages, the BJP hopes the initiative will energise its cadre base ahead of upcoming political battles in the state.
