PM Modi Inaugurates New MP Residential Complex at Baba Kharak Singh Marg, Highlights Spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’

Date:

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday inaugurated newly constructed residential flats for Members of Parliament (MPs) at Baba Kharak Singh Marg in New Delhi. The state-of-the-art complex, designed with modern amenities and sustainable architecture, aims to provide comfortable accommodation for MPs while reflecting India’s unity in diversity.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister commended the efforts of engineers, architects, and shramjeevis (workers) who contributed to the timely completion of the project. “These new flats stand as a testament to the dedication and skill of our engineers and workers who turned this vision into reality,” he said.

Emphasizing the symbolism of the new complex, PM Modi said that MPs from all corners of India living together in one place represents the true spirit of ‘Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat’ — a united and strong India. He urged MPs to celebrate the cultural richness of the country by marking regional festivals collectively within the complex. “When MPs from different states come together to celebrate each other’s traditions, it strengthens our cultural bonds and enhances the spirit of harmony,” he noted.

The newly built flats are part of the government’s broader initiative to modernize official housing and infrastructure in the national capital. The complex incorporates eco-friendly features and efficient use of space, aligning with India’s sustainability goals.

The inauguration marks another step in the government’s ongoing efforts to blend functionality, aesthetics, and national unity in public infrastructure projects.
