Bengaluru, Karnataka — BJP leader and Leader of Opposition (LoP) in the Karnataka Assembly, R Ashoka, has taken a dig at Congress leader DK Shivakumar over his ambiguous and often confusing statements. Speaking on Shivakumar’s communication style, Ashoka expressed frustration over the lack of clarity in the Congress leader’s public remarks.
“In one tweet, he (DK Shivakumar) conveys a hundred meanings. In one word, he conveys tens of meanings. That is why everyone is confused,” Ashoka said. He pointed out that the confusion caused by Shivakumar’s statements is not limited to opposition parties but extends to members of the ruling party as well.
“Not only us, but people from the ruling party are also confused. Why does this man talk like this? Let him speak clearly. Let him clearly explain the meaning of what he says,” Ashoka added.
The BJP leader’s comments reflect ongoing political tensions in Karnataka, where communication and messaging by leaders often come under scrutiny for clarity and intent. DK Shivakumar, known for his outspoken style, has frequently made statements that have sparked debate and raised questions about their precise meaning.
Ashoka’s call for clear and direct communication comes amid growing demands for political transparency and accountability in the state. Political observers note that clarity in messaging is essential for effective governance and for maintaining public trust.
As the political discourse heats up ahead of upcoming elections, leaders from both sides are being urged to maintain straightforward and comprehensible communication to ensure that their positions and policies are clearly understood by the public and party workers alike.
