So far:
- 1,656 mandis have been onboarded
- Spread across 23 states and 4 Union Territories

The e-NAM platform allows farmers to sell their produce through transparent online bidding, ensuring better price discovery.
Key benefits include:

- Competitive pricing for produce
- Direct transfer of sale proceeds to farmers’ bank accounts
This has improved market efficiency and farmer income realization.
AI-Based Quality Testing in Mandis
In Rajasthan, 134 e-NAM mandis are using AI and machine learning-based systems for quality assessment of agricultural produce.
This has:
- Reduced testing time significantly
- Improved accuracy in grading
- Enhanced transparency in trade
The initiative is supported by the Government of India under the e-NAM scheme.
Financial Support for Infrastructure Development
To strengthen mandi infrastructure, the government provides grant assistance of up to ₹75 lakh per mandi for integration with e-NAM.
The funding supports:
- Quality testing laboratories
- Electronic weighing systems
- Cleaning, grading, and packaging facilities
- IT infrastructure including computers and software
- Storage and related facilities
Strengthening Digital Agriculture Markets
The e-NAM platform continues to play a crucial role in modernising agricultural marketing by leveraging technology, improving transparency, and ensuring better price realisation for farmers.
