Haryana Delivers Outstanding ICSE, ISC Results with 100% Class 12 Pass Rate

Date:

Gurgaon/Chandigarh: Haryana has recorded an exceptional performance in the 2026 ICSE (Class 10) and ISC (Class 12) board examinations, with students achieving near-perfect results in Class 10 and a remarkable 100% pass rate in Class 12. The results, declared by the Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), underline the state’s consistent academic excellence and growing reputation in school education.

According to official figures, Haryana reported an impressive 99.8% pass percentage in ICSE (Class 10), while all students who appeared for ISC (Class 12) successfully cleared the examination, making it a perfect 100% success rate. This performance aligns with the broader national trend, where ICSE and ISC results have remained above 99% pass percentages across India.

The examinations, conducted earlier this year, saw strong participation from schools across the state. The ICSE exams were held between February and March 2026, with results officially declared on April 30, 2026, and made accessible through digital platforms including official websites and DigiLocker, ensuring seamless access for students and parents.

Education officials attribute the outstanding results to a combination of consistent academic discipline, improved teaching methodologies, and increased focus on conceptual learning. Schools across Gurgaon, in particular, reported stellar outcomes, with many institutions achieving near-total success rates and multiple students securing scores above 95% and even perfect marks in individual subjects.

A notable trend observed in the results was the continued strong performance of female students. In line with national patterns, girls marginally outperformed boys, reflecting sustained academic consistency and narrowing gender gaps in education.

Educators highlighted that the shift towards analytical and application-based learning has played a key role in improving student outcomes. Over the past few years, schools in Haryana have increasingly adopted digital tools, continuous assessment systems, and skill-based curricula, contributing to better preparedness among students.

The 100% pass rate in ISC (Class 12) is being seen as a major milestone, especially at a time when students face growing academic competition and evolving career aspirations. Many high scorers are now preparing for competitive examinations in engineering, medicine, commerce, and emerging interdisciplinary fields, while others are exploring higher education opportunities both in India and abroad.

Officials also emphasised the importance of accessible result systems. Students were able to check their marks through official CISCE portals using UID and index numbers, as well as via mobile-based platforms, ensuring transparency and efficiency in the result declaration process.

Despite the outstanding results, experts caution against evaluating success solely on the basis of marks. They stress the importance of holistic development, critical thinking, and mental well-being, particularly in high-pressure academic environments.

The Haryana government and school authorities have lauded the achievements, stating that such performances reaffirm the state’s commitment to quality education, student-centric learning, and academic excellence. Many schools are now focusing on further strengthening their academic frameworks to sustain and improve these outcomes in the coming years.

With near-perfect ICSE results, a flawless ISC pass percentage, and consistent high scores across schools, Haryana has once again positioned itself among the top-performing regions in the country. As students celebrate their achievements, the focus now shifts to future academic and professional pathways, marking the beginning of the next phase in their educational journey.
