India’s leading home services platform Urban Company has announced that its rapid-response services arm, InstaHelp, has crossed the milestone of 50,000 daily bookings in less than a year of launch.
The company stated that the achievement was recorded on February 22, marking a significant milestone in its expansion into the high-frequency housekeeping services category. The growth reflects rising demand for quick, on-demand domestic services in major Indian cities.
InstaHelp’s performance signals the early success of Urban Company’s strategic push into everyday household services with faster turnaround times.
InstaHelp Launched in March 2025, Expands to Major Cities
InstaHelp was launched in March 2025 as a pilot project in Mumbai. Since then, the service has expanded to select markets in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Delhi NCR, Hyderabad, and Pune.
The platform offers quick turnaround services such as:
- Home cleaning
- Dishwashing
- Laundry assistance
- Cooking support
These services are designed to be completed within 10–15 minutes, catering to customers seeking fast and convenient household help.
Urban Company said the surge to 50,000 daily bookings demonstrates the highest level of demand the service has witnessed so far.
Urban Company’s Dual Business Strategy
Traditionally, Urban Company has focused on less frequent but higher-value services such as home appliance repairs, beauty treatments, and deep cleaning.
With InstaHelp, the company aims to tap into the high-frequency, recurring services segment. To support rapid service delivery, it has built a strong local supply network across cities.
The company is also making significant investments to scale InstaHelp operations, strengthen its partner network, and enhance last-mile service efficiency.
The rapid growth of InstaHelp highlights the increasing adoption of app-based, on-demand household services in India’s urban markets.
