Union Minister Pralhad Joshi Criticizes Congress in Dharwad Rally

Date:

Karnataka – Union Minister and BJP candidate from the Dharwad parliamentary seat, Pralhad Joshi, launched a scathing attack on the Congress party during a political rally here today.

Joshi claimed that the Congress party has never contributed to a cohesive environment in the country. He contrasted the tenures of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee and current Prime Minister Narendra Modi with those of the Congress, stating that the country has been in more peace under BJP leadership.

“Major riots in the country have happened in Congress’ tenure,” Joshi said, accusing the Congress of not wanting unity between Hindus and Muslims. He further criticized the Congress party’s appeasement policy, stating that it has led to support from what he termed as ‘anti-national’ parties like the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI).

Joshi’s comments come in the backdrop of a heated political climate in the state, with the BJP and Congress vying for dominance in the upcoming elections. His remarks are likely to fuel further debate on the role of political parties in fostering national unity and communal harmony.
