PM Modi Commences Strategic Diplomatic Tour to Russia and Austria

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has embarked on a crucial diplomatic journey to Russia and Austria, aimed at reinforcing India’s longstanding ties with these nations. In a tweet, PM Modi expressed anticipation for the upcoming three-day visit, emphasizing its role in deepening bilateral relations and connecting with the Indian community abroad.

The visit commences with PM Modi’s participation in the 22nd India-Russia Annual Summit in Moscow, where he will engage in high-level discussions with President Vladimir Putin. This summit is poised to explore avenues for enhancing cooperation in defense, space technology, and trade, reflecting the robust partnership between India and Russia.

From Moscow, PM Modi will proceed to Austria, where he plans to meet President Alexander Van der Bellen and Chancellor Karl Nehammer. These meetings are expected to focus on expanding economic ties, promoting innovation, and strengthening cultural exchanges between India and Austria.

PM Modi’s itinerary in Austria also includes a special interaction with the vibrant Indian community, highlighting their contributions to Austria’s socio-economic landscape and their role as cultural ambassadors.
