C. P. Radhakrishnan Arrives in Belagavi, to Attend Sri Veerabhadreshwar Temple Mahotsav in Karnataka

Belagavi, Karnataka: Vice President of India C. P. Radhakrishnan arrived in Belagavi on Thursday for an official visit to attend a major religious event in the district. He was warmly received at the Belagavi Airport by Thawar Chand Gehlot, Karnataka Public Works Minister Satish Jarkiholi, along with other public representatives and senior officials.

Vice President to Attend Temple Inauguration Ceremony

During his visit, the Vice President will participate as the Chief Guest at the inauguration ceremony of the Rajagopura, Kalasarohana and Mahakumbhabhishekam Mahotsav at the Sri Veerabhadreshwar Temple located in Yedur in Belagavi district.

The religious celebration is being organised to mark the completion of the construction and renovation of the temple’s new Rajagopura, an important architectural and spiritual landmark for devotees.

Tight Security Arrangements in Belagavi

In view of the Vice President’s visit, authorities have put in place tight security arrangements in Belagavi city and nearby areas of Yedur. Police personnel have been deployed across key locations to ensure smooth conduct of the programme.

Traffic arrangements have also been temporarily modified in parts of the city to facilitate the movement of the Vice President’s convoy and manage the expected influx of devotees and visitors attending the ceremony.

The visit highlights the significance of the historic temple festival and the cultural importance of the event for the region.
