BJP Launches ‘Janakrosh Yatra’ to Protest Against Congress Government’s Policies

Date:

Bengaluru, Karnataka – Karnataka Legislative Council Leader of Opposition (LoP) and BJP MLC, Chalavadi Narayanaswamy, announced the launch of the Janakrosh Yatra beginning on April 7 in Mysuru. The 16-day protest will cover several districts in the state, aiming to highlight the party’s grievances against the Congress government in Karnataka.

During a press briefing, Narayanaswamy outlined the key issues that the BJP aims to address through the yatra. “This is a protest against the Congress government in Karnataka for rising prices of essentials, misuse of SC/ST funds for guarantee schemes, unconstitutional reservation for Muslims, and overall financial mismanagement,” he said.

The BJP MLC accused the state government of economic mismanagement, claiming that it is misusing public funds and failing to address critical issues such as inflation. “The government has no money left, is looting public funds, and failing to maintain law and order,” Narayanaswamy stated, emphasizing that these policies are detrimental to the common people of Karnataka.

The Janakrosh Yatra also seeks justice for victims of political violence, specifically citing the tragic case of BJP worker Vinay, who lost his life. Narayanaswamy highlighted the party’s demand for justice for victims like Vinay and vowed to expose what the BJP describes as the government’s failure to protect its citizens.

The yatra is expected to gain momentum as it travels across Karnataka, with BJP leaders mobilizing support from the public and rallying against what they claim is the Congress government’s neglect and mismanagement. The protest is poised to be a significant event in the state’s political calendar, with both parties likely to clash over these serious accusations in the coming weeks.

The Janakrosh Yatra will continue to push for answers on key issues such as economic stability, social justice, and public safety, with BJP leaders stressing the need for accountability from the state government.
