Date:

Bengaluru — BJP leader Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan has strongly condemned the recent Bengaluru stampede that claimed 11 lives, criticizing the Karnataka government for its handling of the incident.

“I strongly condemn the Bengaluru incident in which 11 lives were lost. The Karnataka government should have taken concrete steps,” Soundararajan said, adding that the administration must exercise greater caution in crowd management.

She also pointed out what she viewed as hypocrisy, saying, “The Karnataka government was blaming the UP government for Kumbh, but look what has happened there…” Her remarks reflect the growing political tension and accusations over mismanagement and public safety failures.

Opposition leaders have continued to call for accountability and demand a judicial inquiry into the tragedy.
