BJP’s N Ravi Kumar Hits Back at Rahul Gandhi’s Allegations of Vote Rigging, Says Congress Is the ‘Real Vote Thief’

Date:

Bengaluru, Karnataka: Responding to Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi’s allegations of vote rigging in the Haryana elections, BJP MLC and spokesperson N Ravi Kumar on Thursday accused the Congress party of hypocrisy, asserting that it has a long history of electoral malpractice.

“The real vote thief is the Congress party. Everyone knows how the elections were held in Karnataka and across the country,” Ravi Kumar said while addressing the media in Bengaluru.

He dismissed Rahul Gandhi’s claims as baseless and politically motivated, saying the Congress was resorting to such allegations out of frustration over its repeated electoral defeats. “I want to tell Rahul Gandhi and Mallikarjun Kharge to believe in the system. The Congress is losing, which is why it is having problems,” he added.

Ravi Kumar further defended the Election Commission, saying that India’s electoral process is transparent, credible, and technologically advanced, leaving little room for manipulation. He said that by questioning the system, the Congress was attempting to undermine democratic institutions for political gain.

The BJP leader also noted that under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership, the NDA has won elections across several states due to its focus on development, governance, and public welfare — not through manipulation or coercion.
