Agrinnovate India Limited, the commercial arm of the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, presented a dividend of over ₹33.39 crore for the financial year 2024–25 to Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan in New Delhi.
The dividend presentation highlights the organisation’s growing contribution to India’s agricultural innovation and technology commercialization ecosystem.

Speaking on the occasion, Shivraj Singh Chouhan said Agrinnovate India is effectively serving as a strong bridge between the innovative capabilities of ICAR and the practical needs of farmers.
He praised the institution for its role in transferring agricultural technologies, promoting innovation, and supporting technical entrepreneurship in the agricultural sector.

The minister noted that initiatives like Agrinnovate India are helping advance the goals of Atmanirbhar Bharat by encouraging the adoption of modern agricultural technologies and supporting innovation-driven growth.
According to the ministry, Agrinnovate India plays a crucial role in commercializing agricultural research developed by ICAR institutions and bringing it to farmers and agribusinesses.

Officials said the dividend distribution reflects Agrinnovate India’s strong financial discipline and transparency, while also reinforcing its commitment to strengthening India’s agricultural innovation ecosystem.
The initiative is expected to further support technology transfer, startup development, and commercialization of agricultural research, helping improve productivity and sustainability in the farming sector.
