Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended warm greetings to the nation on the occasion of Baisakhi, highlighting the festival’s spirit of gratitude, renewal, and hope.


PM Modi Highlights Farmers’ Contribution & Spiritual Significance

In a post on X, the Prime Minister said Baisakhi reflects the spirit of thanksgiving, especially towards farmers who play a crucial role in ensuring the country’s food security.

He also emphasized the festival’s spiritual importance, noting that it marks the founding of the Khalsa Panth by Guru Gobind Singh, a defining moment in Sikh history.

PM Modi added that the teachings of Sikh Gurus continue to inspire efforts toward building a better and more inclusive society, and wished happiness, prosperity, and renewed energy for all citizens.


Rahul Gandhi, Kharge Extend Festive Wishes

Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi also conveyed his greetings, wishing people joy and prosperity on the occasion.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge extended greetings not only for Baisakhi but also for several regional festivals, including:
